Messaging compliance.
How CoachChime texts, and the rules we follow. Texting is the whole product, so we treat carrier compliance as a feature, not fine print.
A2P 10DLC registration
Every CoachChime number is a real, registered local 10DLC number operating under an approved A2P campaign. No shared shortcodes, no number rotation, no spoofing — the number a client saves is the number that texts them, every time.
Opt-in & consent
Clients are enrolled by their coach and must consent before conversational messaging begins. Consent is captured explicitly during setup with language like:
“I agree to receive coaching messages from my coach’s CoachChime number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”
No client is ever messaged without consent on record.
AI disclosure
Clients are told up front that they’re texting an AI assistant working on behalf of their coach. Disclosure is on by default and cannot be quietly removed. Nothing in a CoachChime thread pretends to be a human.
STOP, HELP, and START
- STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT) — messaging ends immediately. One confirmation message is sent, then nothing else.
- HELP — returns support contact information.
- START — re-enrolls a client who previously opted out.
Message frequency
Frequency follows the client’s program — typically a handful of messages a day at most, usually fewer. CoachChime sends conversational coaching messages, not bulk marketing blasts, and never messages outside a coaching relationship.
Carrier disclaimer
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Prohibited content
CoachChime numbers carry coaching conversations only. Guardrails block content prohibited under carrier policies — including SHAFT categories (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco), lending or debt collection, and anything outside the coaching scope a client signed up for.
